WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnosis is a natural everyday state of mind connected to deep relaxation, narrowed focus and increase suggestibility. In fact, you already have experienced hypnosis. Everyone naturally enters a state of hypnosis regularly in what is called 'Environmental Hypnosis': while at the movies, watching TV, driving on the highway, or while reading a good book, this pleasant dreamlike states when you drift off is hypnosis.
In Hypnotherapy we use this natural state of suggestibility for therapeutic purpose to help you to make the changes that you want in your life.
In hypnosis, you will be
You will be aware of what is happening at all times. Hypnosis is not an unconscious state of sleep. In fact, most people report having an increased sense of awareness, concentration and focus. They can even hear more acutely during a session.
You will always be in control. You will only do what you want to do. Hypnosis is a partnership and works with your will and not against it.
You will be taken into hypnosis easily, each individual can, as long as you wish to.
